Nokia has the 5XXX series (Music express series)
Sony Ericson has the W-XXX (Walkman series)
you should pick one of those series according to your cash & the spec you need .
For nokia series you get better spec for your money
For Sony you get the best audio quality with the W series

will probably cost you around the 60/70 dollar, but imo, it's one of the best MP3 phones.

From my exp, don't got for Korean made fone. It looks nice but they are as crap as they come. Using LG KU990 myself. Samsung, same thing. Nokia? Well, its a Nokia. Iphone, awesome obviously. Though the most reliable is SonyEricson phone. But thats just from my personal experience.

I think all phones can play MP3s now.
I have a samsung instinct, it obviously doesn't have the media capabilities of an iphone, but it does cost $60 less a month. I love it, and they're pretty cheap. The only problem is that it uses a java based music player, like most other phones.
