Delusional avatars?

When I look at some of the post I see the avatar of the poster with the edge of my eye. I'm not focused on it and some of the avatars look like something completly different then they were...
Takolin's old avatar was a guy with a sword, but when i was reading it always looked like Hagrid...
and blackfox*' avatar is tree but it always looks like the multiplying furball monster card from yu-gi-oh...
anyone else have this? what avatars and what do they look like?
