26-year-old Matt Smith, who played Danny Foster on a 2007 British TV show called "Party Animals," will take over the title role on "Doctor Who," probably on the next "Who" Christmas special.

The best-known name the Guardian claims could take over the role of The Doctor is busy movie actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, the soft-spoken, self-proclaimed “monster” of “Serenity.” Ejiofor’s other credits include “Love, Actually,” “Inside Man,” “Melinda and Melinda,” “Children of Men,” “American Gangster” and “Redbelt.” A Black Doctor Who? i doubt the BBC would have the balls for that
