Jailbreak?

Ok so i got the itouch 2gen for Christmas and i heard you can't jailbreak the 2gen.
Is this true? If not can someone help me jailbreak it.

AFAIK- not yet. I've made a thread myself about questions for the ipod touch 2G and got my questions answered about it.. The 2G is not avalible for jailbreaking atm but i heard it will soon in the future.

Give it a couple of weeks, now that they've jailbroken the iPhone 3G, the touch won't be far behind.
