i want to hide my ip address, how do that for FREE, and what does PROXY has to do with it.

Or what programs can hide my ip that is free, or good brands?

i have a webpage, but i don't want people to be able to trace back to my site. Example

if i go and put some site up on a site that looks for ip of sites, i don't want my ip to be shown.

how would i be able to block my site's ip or "source" i guess, I'm not technically knowledgeable with terms.

then you cant get any members/visitor if they dont see your site

Go to internet options, search for a proxy list, type in the port number / proxy IP; it's the easiest way to change your IP.

google for

proxy site

and bam there ya go just type the website adress where you want to go in the url bar of the proxy site and off you go easy

FlagFox for FF shows which Country the sites in and the IP, It's not hard to find a sites IP at all.

SRF is 74.86.101.196 and in the United States.

It isn't possible. About the only thing you can do is host a site that redirects to another site, but it's just another step for anyone with access to the Internet and whois tools (also readily available on the Net) to determine your IP address.

The main reason that you can't hide your IP address is that DNS servers always need to know what the name resolves to. Without an IP address, your site isn't accessible...by anyone or anything.

i always see shit online about "HIDE YOUR IP" crap. oh well, i guess that' doesn't pertain to people who owns webpages.
