If you put your finger next to the the stick face of a scotch, your finger will draw it? What do we call this invisible force?

It has to do with the way electrons work. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Static_electricity

The Thundergods are not amused:D

Just in low details, so basics:

Matter consists from atoms.
Atoms consists from electrons, protons, neutrons and god knows what else.
Important thing is, electron and proton has opposite "charge" wich draws the two particle to each other. If(like this case) electrons and protons get separated, there is a drawing force also.
You can try it with a plastic rod and a towel. Rub the rod with the towel, and after that, voila! You can pick up small paperpieces and so on.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_charge
(and there is my favorite tool as i was a student at the uni)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_de_Graf_generator
(i think it gives you a better sight/knowledge in terms of electricity)
Cheers:)

It's because the act of rubbing make it have charges.
But if no one rubbed the scotch tape, how could it have charges? O.o
