Is it normal for a laptop battery to only last like, 1 hour when fully charged and not being charged up at the time??
cuz mine only lasts a total of 1 hour and 11 minuted when I cut him off his energy flows.

depends on battery life time , and how much its capable of running at all , my for example supposed to work 2 hours but works 1hour50minutes
guess the more the worse it goes

try setting the brightness low, that might get you some more minutes.

Sometimes leaving batteries on chargers once they're totally charged can damage them. I've had two mobile phone batteries stuff up because I leave it on charger a lot.

If you have vista you can change the power setting to "Power saver". Did the battery ever last longer then the 1 hour 11 mins? If it did then I think it's been used up.

Depends on the laptop. Most laptops don't last only a hour. Your laptop is fvcked.

they don't last that long. When the companies tell you that the battery lasts for +2 hours, they're lying. Its more like 50 min to 1 hour so yours is normal

They usually test their "2 hour" limit with low brightness, fan off, no ram-hogging programs...
Seems normal to me though.

Same but I'll almost always have my laptop near a powerplug thingy so I don't have to have a long battery time..

mine on max performance last 50mins, while battery saving mode lasts a bit less than 4, check which mode you are operating under

i underclocked my laptop cpu to maximize life time. if i worse a horsepower machine, i'd use my laptop to do some serious cpu intensive task but laptop = mobility and long battery life

Depends on battery. If it's the one that came with your laptop it usually last 1-2 hours but if you want to use it longer you have to buy an expencive special battery which can last even 6 hours.

Mine lasts like 3 hours when fully charged.
But most options are on low, or atleast minimized.
