i can't seem to figure out how to draw the plan for these 2 shapes ,given is elevation and side view ,and i need to draw elevation and plan ,i drew the elevation in both but still can't figure out how to draw the plan

your a machinist? so am i im studying in a tech school. now, what exactly are you trying to draw it on? pc? or paper?

Hey cool i remember T.D. There was a method on how 2 do this but I forgot.
The plan is the view from the top right?

I'm in a Drafting Tech class atm
But what is "Elevation", front view?

Well not sure if this method is exactly correct but it looks so. The method my teacher thought us was 2 divide the paper into 4 parts. One with the front elevation,the side view,the plan and the extra space we drew a 45 degree line. After drawing 2 of the views we used the 45 degree line 2 get the 3rd view. Not sure if what i did was correct but u get the idea. Like i said though am not sure if this was the way 2 do it just trying 2 help.

Ya i knew what i drew there wouldnt rly b accurate. Its depends on how the object is viewed but u should follow that guys drawing. Am just showing u how 2 figure it out.

The second drawing not 2 sure but it seems correct.
