Ok so for the past week someone managed to get past the school blocked security thing and installed Halo and a bunch of different games on the computers like Warrock. I don't know how they did it or how they managed to get the file on every single computer but now in my computer class everyone is playing Warrock/Halo when the teacher tells us to do an assignment.
I think its pretty cool because we can now download/play any games we want at school and this *person* hides all of the files somehow.

Not a feat deserving of the adjective "awesome". More along the lines of "lackluster".
Anyone with their foot up their ass can unblock things from a school computer.

I know, I was just curious as to what your response would be to what I posted, and if you would react violently.
To be more serious, yes I have done this. When I was in high school I would hide games on the server for my school. The computer administrators would clear out the student folders when they caught on that people were playing games on the school computers. They didn't dare check the school-wide server that was quite easily accessible.

Don't know, because computers nowadays can have such a wide array of restrictions and various programs.
You'd best be off getting a computer (not system) admin account and just doing whatever you wish.
An interesting method of getting admin accounts. I don't recommend you use it.
A while back I had a CD where all that was needed was a boot from disk to get every local admin account, but the CD is in a big box and I'm not searching.

Ha ha ha, same thing happened in my softmore year in high school.
Some kids installed Doom on the computer's network and everyone was playing it. They didn't do anything until it became a problem, No one was caught.
Last year Command Prompt was open and ppl sent messages through it to other computers. Then they found the exe(or w/e its called) so they could sent it to everyone at once.
Oh god it was SPAMMMMMM, there where like 150 messages you had to close out of in just 30 seconds.

Be glad it stopped there. At my school they had a prog called remote shutdown. Which means you could shut down any pc from a distance >.< You could even shut down the server, but no one did that luckily.
And yeah, every school network has a shared disc where those stuff gets installed on We had it too for a while. Mostly AoE I (or II) and some GBA emulators haha.

The following programs that I have installed on the computers in my programming class
Spoiler!
Pro64 and a bunch of roms Pro64 emulator with link capabilities LineRider Beta2 PsX Emulator with MGS and GBA2 GBA Emulator with some GBA roms Halo GB Emulator with link abilities Later people added BF1942 and UT. Source and HL2 are still on all the computers from the kid that added those last year but we can't get them to work.
The only thing that we're having a hard time doing is bypassing the damn network blocker that prevents people from connecting to outside servers. They had issues when all the programming classes had Source and lagged the network last year so now we can't connect to outside servers. We just LAN everything now.

I rolled with Counter-strike on my flashdrive. A few times I would skip lunch and go to a friends computer class and pass it around. After they had it up and running I would leave and go to the library that had these new Petiumin D's, nicer LCD monitors, and logitech mice(better then the trash my friends played on). By the end of the year there was always a school server open with people playing.

Wow. At the high school i go to, if you TRY to download any unwanted programs, they can detect from the main center and they track you down and suspend you. School rules to not interfere with the computers. Friend got suspended for downloading the Microsoft Halo Client that you can download off their website xD.

My grade 11 computer science teacher was a total gamer himself. He used to play unreal tournament with us and when another teacher would walk in the room act like he just caught us doing it and yell to get back to work to save himself. Good Memories.
