MSN virus

So today my friend send me on MSN some links, like some pictures. I wasnt here when he send those so when I saw I open them, but pc download them automaticly. They are MS-DOS files. Since then my MSN sent that link to other friend few times. Now we all we have that sh!t and I cant pm them anymore. I unistalled MSN, scanned pc, gona try instal again.
Did anyone had this virus or whatever it is? How to delete it? Dont suggest format pc pls.

I never thought someone would actually fall for it. I guess it's possible since it's still circulating.

lol My real life friend send me links, why would I doubt it. He send me all kinds of link ervy day, evrything interesting we found we share. I didnt heard of this sh!t before.

There are SO many different msn virusses around, there's no way to tell how to delete it until you know what or where it is
So either scan your pc with some good scanners untill you find something or be on the 100% safe side and reformat your pc.
You also might want to use a different computer to log in on your msn / hotmail and warn your friends not to accept any links / mails from your email / msnadress since some programs automatically send the harmfull links to all people in your contact list.

It might of been sent by your friends account but it doesn't mean that he sent it.

I would expect you to know how your friend would talk/act
Usually the virus would send the message using good grammar and punctuations

Yep system restore work for me always but this time didnt have free space rofl, had only 200mb on C must burn movies that I downloaded.

It was just link, nothing else.
But anyway I scanned pc with SUPERantiSpyware and avast, they detected something I deleted it and reinstalled MSN. Works fine now.
