In the Calvin cycle do 2 Pgal(G3P)make one glucose or dose 1 Pgal(G3p) make glucose?
I keep finding different answers... its either 2 or one.

... Nvm
Apparently To make a molecule of glucose requires 6 turns of the cycle. Eighteen molecules of ATP will be dephosphorylated and 12 molecules of NADPH will be oxidized. Each molecule of NADPH can be considered to be roughly equivalent to 3 molecules of ATP in terms of energy. So, it requires approximately the equivalent of 54 ATPs to make a molecule of glucose. (3 x 12 NADPH = 36 ATP. 36 ATP + 18 ATP = 54ATP)
So if you have 9 ATP instead of 18 being used then... it will take 12 cycles to make glucose. :?

... IT seems anything I find before 2002 ish shows the diagram using 18 ATP and after 2002 it says it uses 9...bitch im confused.
