How is this grade 10? it's basic arithmetic. You need to learn this on your own if you have any hopes of graduating.

il do number 2
The Mackenzie river is 1183 km longer than the St. Lawrence. The sum of their lengths is 7299 km. How long is each river?
7299 Minus 1183 = 6116
6116 Divided by 2 = 3058
So the St. Lawrence is 3058 Kilometres Long (3048)
And the
Mackenzie is 4241 Kilometres Long (3048+1183)

4) The number of frost-free days per year in Quebec City is 18 less than the number in Halifax. The total number in both cities is 292. How many frost-free days are there per year in Halifax?
im not too sure but here goes
292 : 2 = 146
so now they are even
146
146
i add 9 to one and Sustract 9 to the other
so 146+9= 155 (Quebec City)
and 146-9= 137 (Halifax)
155-137=18 ^^

The sum is that like Plus? or is it something diffrent lawlz
well here goes
46:2=23
12:2=6
23+6 =29
23-6=17
17+29=46,
and 29-17=12

To be honest, it's much easier to use algebra.
M=Maximum Life of Mouse, B=Maximum Life of Bear
M=x
B=10x
M+B=11x
33=11x
x=3
M=3

what the ****?
why don't they make those things easy like 1+2??
**** maths. just makes us do + and -, then I'm happy...
they make stuff so hard these days, and I don't even need all that shizzle... like I would suddenly stand in a supermarket going like: hmmm.. a swiss chocolate bar is 20 cents more expensive then a bag of crisps.. together they are €1.40...
now how much do they both cost??
there are a brazillian options, yet, only 1 answer is good...
so, what the ****?
