Check CPU temp

currently im using a program called speedfan to check my computer temperature but I was wondering what do u all use to check if ur computer is about to overheat?

you can tell from process speed and how loud your fan is really so i don't use a program o_O

I'm using HW Monitor. Even tho i don't really need it.

I use coretemp.
Shows the average of my dualcore. Just sits in the tray. Low mem+cpu usage also.

Eeeeeeeeeeeep i hope you have a game on and your pc isnt just idling, thats too hot for idle ^^ Heres my temps with sro on, all stock cooling too.
I use Everest, but it gets all temps from pc (the crimson colored boxes are cpu cores)......

now to get in sro

It's a laptop.
It runs at about 75-79 when gaming, sometimes a bit higher when playing Crysis.

ah that explains it xD. I thought it was desktop. core2duo max temp is like 77c, laptop is much higher though ^^

I use the same thing and i run 60-70 when gaming ^^

i use RealTemp 2.70, has TJ max on it. works great.

TJmax is the thermal junction maximum = distance to intel's maximum safe temperature which is usually around 100C for intel core products.
