Ms Paint Upgrades?

Does anybody know if there are any very slight mods to MS paint? Ms Paint works great for me, but I'd like to see a modification for it that doubles the resolution or something, or perhaps has added colors. That's it (though some other extras would be appreciated), thanks alot.

It's windows, i doubt it. You could try paint.net though.

doesn't even have to be an upgrade, it can be a very similar program which I can just "replace" paint with.

yes gimp and paint.net are great.
i used paint.net for a month or two until i got photoshop.
