Second crash in less than 2 weeks

First one wasn't so bad, I had to dodge 2 bikes so I turned left and got the left side of the car messed up, not expensive at all.
Yesterday we were racing against those 2 same bikes and the tires were so wasted by then that they didn't attach even a little when I tried to drift to my right when taking a corner so we went straight into a lightpole. Now I need a new titanium wheel and gotta fix the front axle, and I believe the engine got hit pretty bad too. Oddly enough we didn't even get a scratch, seeing we were going at almost 100 km/h. No airbag, only the seat belts on :banghead:

Minor fixes aren't that expensive seeing I race with a Volvo Gol 1.6, parts are very cheap, though the broken front axle will cost me a load of cash to get it fixed.
And we race in a professional track most of the the weekends so it's not illegal, though yesterday it was street racing, those bikes are modified to the bones, especially the exhaust pipes so they get to do 0-120 in 10 seconds, a bit more than my car, so I almost never get a good start, forcing us to lose little time turning

Streetracing doesn't necessarily mean your risking someone elses life (it can kinda be done sensibly). Unless you think of stupid little chances, and if you do.. just stay in your house 24/7, otherwise you will always be risking something.

Even if its professional, your always risking someone Else's life.
In Connecticut, street racing is always on going, it happens a lot, and many lives have been taken away because of it.

Solution = stop street racing. You are risking your life. What if the car flipped over? Think outside of the box.

Street racing here is very common, mainly motorbike racing. And if I wanted to look cool I'd show you a video!
Besides, Toasty is 100% right, there's always a chance of having an accident, if you know how to drive and your limits it's not likely to happen though. We just thought the tires would put up with a couple more miles, turns out they didn't 2 of them had grinded material inside and you could see the wires in 1

Does that mean that your proposing that Formula 1, Rallying, Nascar etc etc should all be banned and made illegal?

no, their cars and drivers are equipped and trained to deal with and avoid situations like that.

not to mention there is paramedics and firetrucks always less than 10 seconds away.
