Does anyone else like the band?

I don't mind them. Though they were absolutely huge back in 'the day'. They're not my 'cup of tea'. Though, with that said, They still are musically inspirational no matter what form of music you like. They're the biggest and greatest Rock Band to this day, and probably for quite a while to come.

Some people might argue that the Rolling Stones are better. =/

The Beatles is best ..... band in whole world. It is the first band I ever really liked. They are legends. And when you say that old music sucks you are WRONG. All old bands/singers are real talents, nowadays there's only music made with computer and imo that doesn't require skills at all. Only real bands nowadays are metal/power-metal bands.

The Beatles are great. They have such a positive and uplifting feel about their music, it always puts me in such a pleasant mood. I have a fair few of their cd's, from my parents collection.

That uplifting mood is what i feel too, its very emotional.. but its just different.

the reason i think they are timeless is because their music can fit into any genre:

I listen to the covers from the movie Across the Universe. That's how far I can go with the Beatles.

I can respect that some people like their music, but too many people rave about them just because they're the Beatles.

I've listened to Beatles song, they were ok but nothing spectacular - but I don't have to impress my piers.
