GM (General Motors) almost bankrupt.

President-elect Barack Obama on Friday indicated that help may be on the way. At a Chicago news conference, he said Congress must pass an economic stimulus measure either before or just after he takes office in January, and he mentioned aid for the auto industry.

That's why America buys car shells and designs form other countries. Cause they just put a lot of effort into the engines which make shit for sound, but go fast, and no time or money on a body.

The LS engines from GM have won more awards than any other car company. People are just ignorant when it comes to car, and buy a cheap honda.

Like Fords aren't cheap? There's plenty better cars than Fords. I had a Civic for my first car, It got the job done. You can get a Mustang for $12,000 -.-

surely it might say something about value,
but people also think about economizing these days.
SUV's and sports cars might be very valuable,
but they use much more fuel.
Thus people look towards hybrids and thrifty cars

Not a chance.. there is no doubt that american cars are worse built. Thing i hate about them is they basically always have to have massive engines.. and arn't even that fast.
