Anyone have some good program to do system scan or something like that to check if I have keylogger or something. One of my staller accounts was cleaned up, no big loses few elixirs but I wanna protect my main.

You need internets protection.

Just get a good antivirus program (Avast! Home Ed for me does a great job and is free!) as well as anti-spyware apps (try both spybot s&d and superantispyware) for added security...keep them updated and you should be fine...

Also avoid visiting suspicious sites (i.e. pron) and downloading untrustworthy files and programs...but we all know that right?

Actually, if i still suspect a computer to have a trojan or keylogger i just reformat everything and start afresh...if you can afford it do that with the computer you used the stripped acccount on...

Yes I usually do that, reformat. But since im on colege and using this laptop a lot, and sometimes borow to friends, I get a lot of junk and viruses. Have to much important things, cant just format . I will try with superantispyware and avast, avg isnt so good looks like it.

Yea, I used AVG about a year ago and it just gave me problems, bad detection rate....dunno if they fixed that...for the anti-spyware i suggest you do routine scans...like once or twice every week as they do not offer real time protection as they are free but Avast's RT protection is adequate enough...gl and hope you get rid of them malicious progs...^^

PS. other people using your comp = fail (but i guess that cannot be avoided in your case )

i meant do it if you are scared about the security of your password, i thought that at least anybody would know to get a antivirus.

People always freak when they see I have nothing but Spybot for the occasional check. Then they get pissed when I never get viruses yet they've formatted 5 times this year.

Keyloggers are something that need to be targeted to be effective. The only exception would be in the case of keyloggers meant to steal personal identity or banking information. For that reason there can only be two sources of infection. The first would be from files sent to you from someone who is personally targeting you; it could be a friend. The second would be in SRO downloads like third party software.

It is possible that you have a keylogger on your computer, but is not the way that they accessed your account information. If you have a keylogger specificially targeted at silkroad players, stop violating the games TOS and using bannable third party software.
