obama/biden

but he's only the lesser of the 2 evils. Lately he's been flip flopping the hell out of everything he's been saying and half his policies don't even seem possible, just pandering to the crowd. even though the vice president don't do much i'd feel safer if Clinton was his running mate, the b1tch was a cunt but she had a good head on her shoulders...

This is Chewbacca, Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk, but
Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now, think about that. That does
not make sense! Why would a Wookiee - an eight foot tall Wookiee - want
to live on Endor with a bunch of two foot tall Ewoks? That does not
make sense! What does that have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies
and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make
sense! None of this makes sense. If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must
acquit! The defense rests. DAMNIT!

Im Australian >_>

But isn't there like 6 parties you can vote for? As just opposed to Obama and McCain? Everyone is saying vote for the lessor of two evils but my understanding is that there is much more evil to be picking from..

yeah but hose ppl don't count, they'll never get enough votes to make a difference by the time the election roles around so your better off doing your best to try and stop the mostly likely to win candidate who you don't like from winning by voting for the other guy.

And because of this mentality they will never win. A wasted vote is voting for someone because he won't do as much damage as the other guy. A wasted vote is voting for someone because you don't want the other guy to win. A wasted vote is a vote for evil. There is no lesser.

@Ted, it is not a lesser of 6 evils. It is a lesser of 2 evils with 4 good alternatives that are ignored because supposedly voting on principal is wasting your vote. I've also noticed that people are more likely to vote for the party that they think is better, in theory. The Republicrat candidate, Mr. McBama, is a vote for evil.

None of the third party candidates have any sort of lead right now, not even close, hardly anyone knows who they are. THERE IS NO WAY THEY CAN WIN THIS ELECTION. if they stood a chance and i liked what they had to say, i'd vote for them but they don't...so i won't. To me a wasted vote is a vote that can't make a difference, You have one chance to voice your opinion and make it count. You could stand up and say i vote for NoName because he's got the right idea! Thats all well and good but NoName is going to lose, and there goes your voice. Nothing is different, you didn't change the world, NoName is still NoName. You have your pride in being to say "I took the different route, i voted for who i thought should win no matter how much he's not going to win" and then McCain who has a good chance to become president wins and we're still in this war 4 years later. You can join the ppl who didn't vote and those who voted for 3rd party candidates in getting yelled at for not voting for Obama, who has a chance to win, so we wouldn't be in this mess.

Im not going to use my vote to make a statement no one will hear oare about. That will not make a difference no matter how right or optimistic it is. It is not my mindset that is the cause of this but the rest of the US who doesn't see beyond 2 candidates. Thats like going on a hunger strike in the middle of nowhere to stop the war and no one knows about it. Its all well and good but when you die no one will know or care, you didn't make a difference. Im going to make a difference and vote for Obama, when they tally up the votes i know that one of them will be mine and thats a difference.

So you would rather vote for false change? I don't see how the President is going to get us out of this mess. What is he going to do? Whip out his wand, issue a bunch of executive orders, gather his Keynesian friends, and magically conjure a fix? I never realized we we're voting in Magicians. I guess voting for more war, more economic/social intervention, and more fees is making a difference. The same question I raise to all Obama/McCain supporters: Why? Do these men really offer anything of substance or is it more of the same?

Yelled at? L-o-L. So, let me get this straight. If Obama loses (won't happen) all third party voters and people that didn't vote are to blame? Please. Read my signature. Daniel Webster wrote it.

har har har your facetiousness is so amusing.

If your going to stand here and say the president doesn't have any power after we just went through 8 years of the president doing nothing BUT abusing his power then you should just go shoot yourself. I'd rather help the Lesser of two evils win KNOWING that one of them WILL win rather than vote for Neither and letting the one i don't want to win stand a better chance.

Ah, so you're hoping that the President abuses his high office for the general welfare of the people? I do not deny that Presidents have usurped the powers of the State, but does that mean they should? Evil is still Evil and I would rather not choose Evil.

you love to fill yourself with that bullsh1t, least i know what he isnt going to do and that is say f***, nothing can be done and we shouldnt even bother.

If the Highest in the land can ignore the law of the land then so can his peasants, rightfully so. Who is saying "fck all?" Presidents should remain within their constitutional powers. I refuse to support a man that promises false hope to the people. Change without substance is not change at all.
