Finally some new grinding music xD. First one is similar style to Dragonforce, might be more appealing

This music is so violent and angry, it hurts my ears AND my feelings!
Why do people make such loud music, can't they keep it soft?
I'll need to recover for at least a week after hearing this blasphemous devil-worshiping violence-praising music.

On-topic: Dragonforce is probably the only band i like (1 or two songs atleast) in the genre.

Seems the only person here who has some taste in music is Hellraider. All these other bands who sound like DragonForce suck. They play horrible music...

That first video is nothing like dragonforce. They have a much slower drum beat, the guitar aims for that heavier droning side while the vocals are deep and angry, as opposed to dragonforce's fast past and uplifting style of music. So many people listen to power metal and try to compare it immediately to dragonforce. They play a different style to your bands like nightwish, firewind, sonata arctica, hammerfall etc. One of the only bands you really can compare is power glove. Though in many ways you cant, from what i have heard of them they dont have vocals and just do gaming covers >_<

I listen to a lot of power metal, its my genre of choice. I've done a shitload of research on it and am yet to find a band that has a similar style to dragonforce. I admit i am a big dragonforce fan, always have been. But there are a lot of other good power metal bands out there, people just make the mistake of trying to relate them to dragonforce. These bands aim for originality in style and sound, stop trying to compare them >_>

/dragonforce rant

As far as grinding music, try kalmah. Although at times i dislike their vocals they have such a nice sound. The guitar work is simplistic yet sophisticated. They are a heavier band whilst still pulling off finical solos.

I agree, but check out my first song man, imo it's alot like dragonforce, it's not 100% the same, but I'd say it's the closest I've come to dragonforce style.

They sound nothing like dragonforce to be completely honest. The guitar seems to play background to the song, as opposed to the majority of dragonforce songs where the guitar is what makes it ( as power metal should be ). During the actual vocals the guitar work is bland, like its there to simply "fill in time" before the next solo occurs. The drums are pretty much consistent for the whole of the song ( though many of dragonforces songs have a similar thing ). Frankly compare it to some of dragonforces most recent work and there is no parallel. And the lack of keyboard just ruins it for me. A lot of what makes dragonforce so good is their keyboard solos, its just not the same without it.

Their lastest album, Ultrabeatdown. Personally i think this is the best song they have ever done.

Im not saying your song is bad, im just saying it cant be compared to dragonforce. Hell comparing bands is a bad concept in general =/

Now back to grinding music. I thought I'd dig up some kalmah for you. Although i don't ussually like the death metal lyrics it works really well for this band.

Personally i think this is a great band to listen to while grinding. Their songs blend together well while still having a lot of subtle differences in guitar work to make time fly by.
