Why because you think so? I dislike today's rap music, but I don't find it ridiculously bull shit just because the lyrics don't fit my persona. Just as you like what you like, people like what they like.

I'm pretty sure that if you knew how to rhyme, and make millions of dollars from selling your albums... Yeah you wouldn't be typing what you wrote.

Rubbish Blurred.

Notice the word most?

There have been some rap artists, with decent brains, whom created great songs, and the lyrics rocked there socks off.

but 95% of all rap songs made, are full of shit. Making money caus they said bith three times, oh comon.

If i like it or not isn't important, its the quality of lyrics that counts, and anyone whom can read can evaluate this quality. Or rather the lack of it.

95 percent or 100 percent it doesn't really matter.

Just because you dislike something doesn't make it wrong. If it's music to their ears then so be it.

Sigh, l2 read.

The sound doesn't matter. It's about the lyrics. It doesn't matter if it sells. Wwe are looking at the quality of the actual lines, the text, which is rubbish.

It doesnt matter if you like it or not.

Blurred,
even speaking as a hip hop fan, I agree with Priam: Lyrics are what count, beats are the ++

50 Cents "In Da Club" for example is about partying,
but the lyrics are better then most of the average "club bangers" these days, thats why it achieved such success and is compatible with many different genre remixes.

Now listen to the modern money rap:
(someone posted this sometime ago, my bro loves it, i despise it)

Tila Tequila - I Like to ****
Code: Select all

Basically just some singsong vulgar hip hop song with... lyrics..
