What sense couldn't you live without

deaf people exist, blind people exist. Theres some retard kid who cant feel pain, im sure there are people with prosthetics tongues and theres plenty of people with blocked noses.

Stop being so technical you know what I meant.

I know all senses are important to the human body but for me I guess vision. The brain receives information mostly using the eye specially if the person was born normal, like me. So if I lose my sight for some reason I think it will be pretty hard. Unless if the person was born blind he'll get used to it.

Live without being to feel? my ass. You could get shot in the back, and you wouldn't know it, your life would suck without feelings, you could get 3rd degree burns without realizing it, then hemmorhage to death (or however you spell that). I wouldn't like to be blind, but i need to be able to feel.

@Tedwilliger: Yes, there is a retard who can't feel, more than one, if you have Fragile-X syndrome, then you can't feel, and that's one of the worst diseases you can have, especially since you're born with it, most kids with it don't live past 5.

Taste and Smell go hand-in-hand but i voted for taste anyway. I can imagine a world without sight and still see in a world without sound. I'd probably get off on a world without pain and i have no use for feelings /wrist

but a world without taste would seem hollow and empty when one of the greatest pleasures life has to offer is food....

I would take a fantastic cut of kobe beef with a side of mashes potatoes and fresh cut greens and the perfect wine over a night of a night of swapping body fluids any day...

this is not to say sex isn't great but its a virginal idea to place it to high on the list imo..

Ever had kobe beef? It's expensive, but imo it's not that amazing, i agree, I like food, but imo, it would almost be better to have no taste, you can eat the healthiest food ever and do weird shit like eat a dog turd for a million bucks. You can still gain pleasure from smell, I can just smell the food (Of course, for that dog turd I'd be plugging my nose up), and I can enjoy it 60% as much as I could before.

Not to mention, feelings aren't just for sex, but as I've said, it's useful to know when you're walking around on a broken ankle.

I'd had kobe beef and between that meal and a BJ i'd choose the Kobe but i enjoy cooking and even more than that i enjoy eating and more than that i enjoy flavors. So to me a world without taste would deprive me of an experience that in itself makes life worth living. You can travel the world and meet those who would give all ties all connections all emotions and even they still have tried to to find as many ways as possible to make what they eat taste the best it possibly can.

As said taste and smell are connected. So losing one, you'd probably not have the other.

But instead he doesn't realize until the poison kicks in and his chances of survival are much lessor. This could be the same with being shot, slitting your leg on a blade.. anything.
