which of these desktops should i buy (aside from the $4700 one) I am getting a new job and am saving up for a new comp. Going to focus on gaming, and maybe schoolwork.

build it yourself and save millions, and if you don't know how there are many people able to assist you =p

$1000 is kinda cheap. if ud like to assist helping me make a comp lol

Just look up the same parts on sites that sell parts individually and compare total prices, you'll see that it's less when you buy separate.

The computer I recently built cost me around 1300$ (last thing to buy is vid card around xmas) which includes a 22" monitor. A build more or less the same was about 1900$ when I went to stores with pre-built computers. Even more online..

those alienwares really aren't cheap, that minimum listed price is terrible, cuz i just have to customize it more (duh). can someone list like a computer that can be made for like $1000-1500 for gaming

Practically building it yourself except they obviously need to make profits... Prob 600-1000$ for a machine that can handle all you'll want it to.

I remeber one of those two had the 50$ assembly thing, but one of them also had bad reviews for their delivery times and handling

idc about shipping etc.. as long as it gets there

Googled reviews and they both seem to be fine. IMO go for cyberpowerpc.com first it has more options and its specials are very good deals.

Dont even need to do that, its common sense. Been building them since i was 12...the trouble shooting is the fun part, literally...i love it.

Building a PC is like playing with lego, it's so easy because it is very clear where most thing should go

But there is more to building than putting parts in the right place. Most people who say they can build still need to go to someone else to troubleshoot if they have a problem..
