this is the part in which i tell you i dont have to, you could listen to about every person who uses it and try it out for yourself or you could say "another row of stuff" and continue doing w/e you being doing

Stock, because I like my UI to be relatively consistent so that it blends in. Skinned applications like Xfire and Winamp piss me off.

I'm very much the same. But I found this skin for xfire and I'm very happy with how well it 'blends in'.

As for the Google toolbar debate. I've used it. The only thing I found useful for it in the days back when I used IE, was the Google Search. I no longer need that. Oh that and the auto fill? But I sign up for something new maybe every month, not every 5 minutes so it's really not worth it.

you can pretty much get to the sites/things you usually look at
a lot faster and when switching/opening new tabs it makes it easier for you is like your all-in-one button and by helping you handle new tabs i mean that lets say you have 10 tabs open and you need/want to close some of those down, so you do and for some reason you need to reopen some of those again so you simply hit your google toolbar and there they are couse it will record your last visited sites/researches unlike your address bar which usually holds your most visited sites
i am using firefox 3 and my address bar is set to hold only my 12 most visited sites in order to avoid lets say looking at some youtube video some1 posted here and having that stuck there for all eternity making more important sites harder to find. having said that if i type something like youtube.com/blablabla my firefox wont record it but if i actually want to get back to that after closing it down ill go to my google toolbar and find it there so it has
great compatibility with firefox making it for me at least the perfect browsing experience
i personally love to have all in that one button and find the other uses it has rather cool, i use the button sometimes for like when sites arent loading up couse they have some problems/maintenance going on to reset the tab or if i am looking at something and is taking too much bandwidth i can simply push my google button give it a rest ( sorta put it on hold, helps with streaming of any live event ) and let w/e else i am working on run smoother. is not strange for me to have 4-5 videos up at one time so i see myself doing this fairly often. point is that to be honest is really hard to tell/explain to you why is so handy couse some of the features are already around and you can argue you dont need them and that is why i advice you to try it for yourself for 2 days or so and see what uses/benefits you can get off it and see if it truly delivers and what has being said

well shit if that didn't convince me i dont know what will cause that was so easy to understand that to be honest i dont know why everyone isnt using google toolbar or w/e i like it when stuff runs faster and smoother and i watch lots of x so it sounds perfect for me to be honest go google thanks love

There's mine...
That's what the google toolbar looks like apparently. IMO looks like Opera on a toolbar. I don't need any of those things though.
