Bleach... Like, wtf??

Bleach, like one of the many over-rated shonen, barrages the audience with simple story-lines, mediocre villains, stereotype characters, cliche abilities, and just a whole wad of nonsense - a formula tried and tested! People keep craving for more, and the author keeps squeezing out every crap he can make until the franchise is dried beat.

I follow up on Bleach myself, though I recently put it off, then took it again due to the latest chapter. I have the same situation in Naruto. Both are stupid shows, but I still read them when I remember.

Most of the good animes/mangas are the short ones: the ones that the writers have the whole plot in mind from the start. Death Note falls into one of these beautiful gems, along with FMA, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Fooly Cooly, Monster, Mushishi, Gurren Lagann, and hopefully, Code Geass, Haruhi, and Zetsobou Sensei - if the writers do decide to spare these three hits from the brutal extraction of the franchises until it all rots like shit.

actually strawberry panic is simple, it's characters are plain boring, except for the main two.

The first episodes dont say/do/happen that much, i was losing interest. Tho, i wanted to watch the rest of the anime, and then the last 5-6 chapters were amazing and beautiful (esp the last one-even to watch the final images in the credits -a tear came out). It worths watching the crap of the first episodes.

Yep, as soon as i see a filler arc in an anime i usually just skip it, but at that point i had lost interest in bleach. The best part of it was the soul society arc and after that really should've ended. instead they let aizen get away which opened who knows how many windows of opportunities for fillers. Honestly they should've just made bleach into an anime movie instead of a series.

i am not the best person to talk about hating but this is hating right here, you pretty much said the show has no storyline and there is nothing special about it you call Death Note a beutiful gem wait .........are you serious after like episode 25 is the same old **** L dies and guess what we replace him with another dude just like him and back to playing master mind doing the same things......... talking about drying up the franchise Death Note isnt worth watching after the first 30 episodes Mr. Fan Boy

Only time I hated fillers was the Naruto fillers. That was too many. I'm glad Bleach isn't as overrated as Eureka 7. Wasted my time watching Eureka 7.

I'd rather have a show that has 26 episodes (12 volumes) with a well-crafted storyline than a show that boasts 160+ episodes (30+ volumes) spanning different arcs with a storyline I've pretty much seen over and over from Yu Yu Hakusho to Naruto.

Here, we have an ordinary guy, getting an amazing power. But lo and behold! He's not the only one who has the power! There are stronger ones out there. He has to get stronger and kick their asses. Victory! But wait, there are way stronger ones out there! POWER-UP BABY! Kick more asses. Stronger peeps come in. Another power-up. Kick ass. Stronger peeps. Power-up. Kick. Ass.

Along the way, he makes friends, shows off cool looking powerz, gets a love life, and so on and so forth. Wait, haven't I seen this before? No way. The only thing new with every testosterone saturated shonen is their universes. The writers paint these beautiful new alternate worlds with Shinigamis, Hollows, Vizards, and Arrancars. But what do they do to these great concepts?

As I've said, it's a tried and tested formula. People will always make these kinds of shows because consumers dig them.

I liked bleach but only until it became SUPER popular. I just kept on shuffling through episodes since. Sometimes i'd watch Ichigo learning to control his hollow, and the next day i'll watch Him trying 2 reach bankai... ._.

actually its true that 90% of the anime out there turn gay after the first 20 or 30 episodes. Since a particular anime is popular, the writers want to drag it as long as they can so that they can earn more money from the hardcore readers while there is the popularity surge going on.

Its honestly really lame, I can't find any kind of anime that I can enjoy without having redundant shit. Like case closed (I mean wtf, end the story and find out who the dudes are that made conan into a 1st grader), bleach, naruto, gundam seed, they are just so cool when they first appear, then nobody cares anymore except the hardcore fans.

the only anime that I can find interesting and compelling enough is dragonball z (up to the freeza saga, then it turns stupid with all this majin buu shit) and gundam 08th ms team (which, thankfully, can put in all the qualities of a good OVA into 11 episodes)

you'll see many characters are emo, you might even become emo too if you excessivly watch it.

I did 10 episodes approx. a day till the last episode,
I would give it 7.5/10 stars if it weren't for the fillers
