you know I wonder what ever happened to spanking......
Do you really want to bring up spanking when you already have creepy guys hitting on you enough as it is?

Are you a girl? or a boy?... not so that if its a girl I would get all horny and ask for pics of her nude. Just so that I make sure that its not a boy, and its not going the wrong way. Like one time I became pretty good friends with someone ig that was a girl, but I found out it was a boy. It was pretty sad actually. He, who I really thought was a "she" always did <3, ^^, =), or stuff like that when he pmed me. So I think he was gay lmao.
First off, if you aren't interested in sleeping someone, and you aren't sexist, gender is irrelevant. If you honestly care about their gender anymore than knowing what armor goes on their character, you're either interested in them, or you're incredibly insecure. Secondly, being gay has nothing to do with it. Some online communities (such as MMOs where people might not all speak the same language fluently, or where other cultures that use smilies more thrive) have MUCH more common smiley usage, to the point that you're considered odd for *not* using them. You know, not that long ago, the only people that would be typing were women, are we going to assume everyone on the forum is gay for knowing how to type?

What if my online boyfriend turns out to be a girl?!
(actually, I'd be happy, but meh)
Ok, speaking as both a teenager, a no life, and a pervert, (spot the flaw in this sentence) I feel my opinion matters here. Yes, I admit, I have fawned over girls in games and in forums, even when I barely know them. I do it in real life too. What I don't do is harass them, ask for pictures, or even let them know that I care. Simply put, I know that I'd have no interest in someone like me messaging, and I ESPECIALLY would be pissed off if said someone kept asking me about it.
That said, I do see a lot of undeserved hate in this thread. Nobody wakes up in the morning and says "ok! I have nothing to do in my life, let's log on to SRO and harass some chicks." We can't help it. We're socially illiterate. Yes, some of it is immature tweens, but some of it is also people that don't know how to socialize, whether it's our fault or not. Most of them don't mean to be rude or make you uncomfortable, they don't even realize they're doing it.
