same thing for me really, except i havnt been told my standards are too high.

my longest relationship was over a year (cant remember exactly, was a while ago) but we were sooooo young that it didnt really mean anything. We had been friends since we were very young (2/3 maybe) and continued to be for years after. I would say we are still friends but after my 1st year in college i didnt see her much. I havnt really been bothered to keep in touch with alot of my old school friends except a small few

i was done with high school about 4 years ago. i had quite a bunch of "friends"
at that time, but atm (in the netherlands at least; now i just see my best friend
lols), theres me and 3 others that are in the same pub every friday evening.
those where the 3 of which i always knew we would still be part of eachothers
lives, even 20 years from now.

idk. i like having a small group. we know eachother in and out. no probs with
getting other ppl in our group, but in the end it will be our small bunch sitting
together in the pub again. most that we bring in have a problem with being
themselves and try to prove themselves to us over and over. eventually, when
they notice we dont give a fck about how many ppl they fought that week,
they will drift off to other friends again

on topic:

classic lovestory. we were best pals in high school. courted her in college. been through the ups and downs. had major fights. broke up(3 weeks max). got back together(stronger&sweeter). together every step of the way. was the happiest 4 years of my life.
Until..

She and her family moved to UK.
sucked.
we've been apart for a year now. :cry:

i practically spend almost all my waking hours thinkin bout her.
longing.. missing her.. it sucks to not be able to hold her.. sucks to not be able to hug her.. or ask her face2face, "how was your day, my?"
god. i miss her so much..

but, it has to be..
hopefuly, we'd get 2gether again 2-3yrs from now.

for now, we use SRO as a medium. we used to chat at YM but, for a gamer like me, this setup is better. oh yeah, shes a gamer too. thanks to moi.. hehe

eventhough id rather be playing some other games, im playing SRO cuz she's there. and thats about all the reason i need..
all in all, we've been on for 63months and going strong..

btw, she made me a vid. made me cry though. heh.

Okay so there is this girl and i really like her and i havent started talking to her regularly till lately and i was just wondering how i tell if she likes me also? She is my sisters friend so she came to my other sisters wedding this weekend. All the slow songs she MADE me dance with her and she even told my niece that she couldnt dance with me.(yes i did eventually dance with my niece) I have been takling to her alot since. She has asked me to come swimming at my house and has called me "babe" in a few texts? how should i interprit this?????how will i know if she truley likes me?

OMG, she so likes you, either that OR she considers you a friend type person. I think you should gradually get really close too her...then ask. If she says yes then good for you, if she says no then chances are she just wants to be really good friends with you.

well okay sorry for the double post

and tonght we went swimming and then went and watched a movie and had a beer and i finally got the guts to actually tell her i liked her and then we went on with the whole "y do u like me theres nothing to like" routine and then she told me im to young im just like its only 1 year and shes like still...so ya we just kinda sat there till she left so ya tonight sux!!!!

*reading over that i realized how much of a gossipy girl i sounded like but get over it im not in the mood*
