I don't take it after every workout, but I will on days I didn't meet my protein macros and/or want a protein desert. (NO HOMO!) I mix mine with water and ice to save those milk calories for real food somewhere else. I'm in a 'cut' right now to lose a little bodyfat. When I'm not it's milk all the way!
Protein brownies: 1 Scoop + 1 tablespoon peanut butter + a little water + 15sec in the microwave. mmm
Protein (carb free basically) brownies: 2 scoops whey, 1 egg, tsp baking powder, water to batter consistency. Cook like normal pancakes.
*White flood for my preworkout/intra workout drink. I'm heading to the gym in an hour.
InB4 Broscience arguments.
Someone knows WTF their doing! Gained my respect when you talked about macros :3
Yes OP protein is good for you! Try to take 0.7 ~ 1.2 g of protein per lbm.. If you're not lift make it near 0.7 range!! Just have a well balanced diet and be active and you'll be fine. Also try to get ON or MTS whey because they are decent brands and meet their nutrition labels unlike many other protein brands (FDA doesn't monitor or regulate the supplement industry).
