I'm always amused at how many people have broken screens.

I have insurance, yet didn't get my broken screen fixed for 5 months. Because that effort.

My friends insurance is looking over the repair costs. If I was the one paying it would be fixed already but it wasn't my fault and you know how big companies work.

I have dropped my phone twice, nothing happened =D

5 dollar protector op ( doing jelly ones from now on exclusively ).

Seriously though, 1/5 of the phones I see have cracked screens. No idea how people are dropping these phones, the two times I did I was running and it was on my backpack's sidepocket ( I now know to hold it in my hand if for some reason I need to run ).

I don't drop my phone, maybe people are getting phones too big for their hands so they can't hold it properly, or perhaps they are so spoiled by technology they don't care about ruining a 500+$ item.

only broke a phone once, broke the whole screen not just the glass part, i actually took my phone and throwed it full strenght into a wall of brick. had to pay 300$ to repair it lmao.

never cracked the screen by accident though, im kinda good at not breaking my stuff usually

My nexus 4 is still going strong, only thing that shows aging is the battery but is never a problem, I even have a external one I rarely use. Camera is still meh though. I am very interested in a decent camera for my next phone since hardware at this point doesn't provide anything special performance wise and on the side of software there is modding for the very best.

Camera/Battery dictate the gold standard when it comes to phones now in my opinion.

My mp3 player's jack is broken beyond what I can tolerate and I had a minor scare where I thought my phone's vibrate broke, though that turned out to be false alarm. But it was enough to get me searching. Saw this model in a store few days ago and it looked decent. Had never even heard of the brand before, but reviews seem to be positive. People say it performs like 200 euro phone at the price of 93 so that's good enough for me...

It's android and looks to have some good battery life.

I don't think you should cut the chip. There should be at least a little bit of material around the chip.

I been getting a bit curious about the one plus, the phone seems to have it all yet again my nexus 4 is holding up quite well. I could wait for 1-2 more generations of phones to come out.

I want to see companies pushing cameras and battery for affordable prices, software and all other aspects of hardware are pretty irrelevant at this point.
