The law for smoking in public does not apply when the person who's smoking
is giving a show or a performance. That's why there is a bar that officially changed its status of "bar" to "theater" where all the "customers" are no longer "customers" but are now "actors" in a "play"
and therefore have the legal right to smoke inside.

However, i dunno if it still applies to those as they were done the
game. And obviously it doesn't apply to the 18 y.o. girl.

But imo, they wont get fined or anything. Just a little warning.

I don't think they should or will be punished, but come on.. You can party hardcore after the game (outside the arena) all you want. Go smoke weed and free base cocaine for all I care, live it up, you won gold.

Oh, well that's part of speed skating..you really think he "pushed" the Canadian down? Luls, come on, go watch it again, he barely touches him. He deserved the DQ, if you touch someone and they fall you're getting DQ'ed, but it's just part of skating.. in case you missed it they make risky passes all the time. Canadian still got a medal, both of them.

BTW - The domino effect didn't touch the korean..he just fell down... after Hamelin touched him.

Again, watch more short track, there is always bumping and touching. My point was, if you want to play the blame game why not say Hamelin made the Korean guy fall? If you watch the footage, the Canadian touched the Korean dude before he fell. Saying Ohno has bad sportsmanship because he tried to make an aggressive pass in the last solo race of his career is ridiculous. That's part of racing, and he was rightfully DQed, that's just how it works. Had the guy not fallen Ohno would not have been DQed, you can touch... You'll also notice Ohno shook the guys hand after the race... damn that bad sportsmanship.

um ohno wasn't trying to make an "aggresive pass". He wasn't even trying to pass, which would mean that he would be going along the outside to get past the canadian. All he did was put his hand on the guys back at the last bend. You can touch people, but ohno didnt touch he pushed. It doesn't take an obvious push to get someone wobbly when they are going 20mph on ice skates, and so the guy fell. Ohno was last place and decided that since he couldn't get on the podium fairly, he made the guy in front of him fall.

If you saw 2002 when ohno got the gold medal from the DQ, you'll see him celebrating like he's happy his "hollywood action" worked out. Then this year after one of the races he told the interviewer "I wish the Korean guy behind me got DQ'ed, just like last time" and then later something like "I have a feeling the Koreans work together on the track" when he got interviewed by NBC (team skating is illegal). And then now this underhanded move at the 500m.

Call me a sore loser and say I'm getting butthurt I don't care, but if you'd think a minute, you'd realize that the people that don't like him have good reasons to do so.

Actually IOC goes by most gold = the winner of the Olympics. The US media just started to use the total medal count to make their ego's higher after getting dominated in gold medal counts by Russia and China. So technically Canada is winning the Olympics right now.
