My moms stuff says it has acetone in it =( I do however have this 'NOVI Action' sport gel cleaner for 'all athletic shoes/sandels' though it has no ingredients on the bottle =\.

They are soo great. And they walk just like Converse They are in the washing machine now. I walked about 3 miles along waterfalls in france, so they are dirty as hell:roll:

I've never washed my shoes in the washer before. My parents dont really like the idea of it ruining the washer lol. I handclean mine.. but only certain types of materials, like the kind on basketball shoes and stuff. the kind of material on the vans, i dont wash at all cause it'll just keep on getting dirty and stuff. But does really putting it in the washer make it look/smell alot better?

Yes they look brand new after washing machine. All the white spots shine like in the shoe shop.
They won't ruin the washer. Take the inserts out of them first. Just let them dry overnight. A hot dryer will damage some shoes, a cold dryer won't dry them anyway. Plus they go KATHUNK KATHUNK in the dryer.

So you'd have to airdry the shoes?
I once soaked my vans in a bucket of like washer soap or something lol, it came out clean white, but then when i air dried them, the old spots came back
Just leave em overnight they'll dry. Washer spin cycle takes most the water out of them, unlike soaking. Oxyclean works magic too; I tell you I put every known checmical in my bathtub when I bought the house
Finally soaked it in oxyclean, and now where the water level was is cleaner than everything else -.- its so obvious. lol
You can put a scoop of oxy in the wash w/ the shoes
. I've heard using baby wipes but I also heard it can ruin certain types of fabric..T.T
