People have not changed, sure we look nice but just because its been 200 years doesnt mean were not capable.. civil war will happen when the govmnt tries to take the patriots God given Freedoms.

You can laugh at what you want. (What am I going to do, stop you?) My point is that by doing so without a clue makes you look like just as much of a fool. What do you actually know about the state of the country? Just what the media and gas prices are telling you? Maybe a KGB analyst knows something we don't? Maybe he's just a nut that wants to see the US crumble. It's a serious claim, and the article takes it pretty seriously, but we can't for some reason.

For your info, I am working on completing my Master's in International Relations and Comparative Politics (in the U.S.). I am well informed, and I am trained in methods of political analysis and scientific inquiry. I can tell you I laughed my ass off at this guy. I could give you a dissertation on why this would not happen, and especially not in the manner he is predicting. I didn't think this was a forum for serious debate, though. Also, just because some dude in another country has "qualifications" it doesn't automatically earn him my respect. Present a valid theory and non-bullshit reasoning and I'll listen, absorb, question, and criticize.

That states that the next World War will not be about Oil or any other resources but about cultural diferences. So I do not think that USA will split up like that, he should watch less Jericho (In which their actually was a Republic called Texas) and deepen himself on that theory.
