i'll start with myself: i met this girl that i wanna start relationship, the problem is i don't know if she is already in one or not, should i just ask her or find out from one of her friends?
first off, how old are you? if you are in high school or college, it doesn't matter if she is in a relationship(unless the guy is a neanderthal and can seriously hurt you). the best thing to do is to grow a set and just ask her out. it is the "mature" way of going about it (chicks dig that kind of adult shit) and it saves you the effort of playing "telephone" with her friends, which also runs the risk of her finding out and clowning you for not just asking her in the first place. are you already on speaking terms with this girl, or is she a random? if you two are already familiar with each other, then it will be easy! strike up a conversation about some type of shit that SHE likes, and ease your way into the big question. jokes help too, get her comfortable and spring the question, but be suave. dont just blurt it out, be like, so you goin to the party this weekend? you need a ride, or you wanna go together. or if you want the mack daddy approach, find out who her favorite bands are and if any are coming to your area in concert (check to make sure they are not sold out, because you don't actually buy the tickets until she says yes) and be like hey, i got tickets to this show and my boy bailed on me, you wanna come along? when she says yes you run home and buy that shit!!! if she is a random...nice shoes, wanna **** might work.
in summary, ease your way into asking through conversation, don't just run up to the and blurt out "WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME" AND DO NOT ASK HER OUT THROUGH FRIENDS!!!!!
*sigh*
u put on ur good shoes...say a few jokes...pop the question.....if she says no...dont cry...walk away from the bitch and then ask her friend before she has a chance to talk to her. Fool proof.. works like a charm.. ur of course in highschool i believe?
The best is always to ask her direct. But it is surely better you speak with her first and show you self who you are some days and after you can ask her out. so she has an opportunity to see who you are.
Guys, finishing you relation with someone is really funny, why would you do it by text message? I mean, she will hate you anyways at least that you were friends before.
And for the ones that voted IM.. chikens.. that also takes out all the fun, what if you finnally get something important and longer with her, it would be pathetic to remembr that you asked her by IM
On a more serious note, when you're in grade 6 to hair-on-balls, you look like a girl. The girls your age are starting to get fluff on the muff and don't want anything to do with guys that have less body hair then they do. For the vast majority, girls in that age will never be interested in guys their own age, and for a couple years will lable themselves as into "older guys" (read: 14-16)
The way it works is, if you just go up and ask her, then she'll think "Hmm, he must be pretty cool if he's able to just come up and do this no problem".
If you have confidence, she'll figure you're good enough to go out with.
[EDIT:] Seems this topic isn't about this anymore, just disregard what I said.
