I've noticed that new srfers have shit loads of posts (me :D).

And if the old generation really was better, it must have been pretty nice.

yes...the "old generation" was very nice...i guess i can say i joined near its
highest point, just before the "new generation".

I started lurking about a year ago. Opened an account in January but never posted under it. Lurked a few more months and then opened this account because I couldn't find my info for the first account.

I've found that a majority of the self-professed old-schoolers who go around lamenting the decline of the board are the first ones to flame. I'll present a logical flame-free argument, supported by reliable evidence, and the response is usually something like "STFU, you uneducated 10 y/o in his mama's basement, you should be on tavern" by someone with an early join-date who, in another thread, says something like "the old generation doesn't flame."

So many thin skinned old-schoolers are so self-righteous that they can't recognize their own hypocrisy. Like I've said and has been said in this thread, take each argument at face value and address it. If you don't have something interesting, funny or helpful to say, at least be respectful to the thread-starter. If you can't do that, then just move on to the next thread.

well i know some are bad nuts but sometimes you dont realise the way you type something out even if logical can come accross as potentious and cause a flame hell we have all made posts that have been locked, deleted or flamed before but nower days theres too many about
