The highest temp EVER recorded in europe is 48 degrees.
38.6 is highest in the netherlands, we're getting prettty close to that lately.

umm actually it's a valid point considering it's suppose to be the most spread out heatwave filled summer ever observed by man.. All across the world.

I googled "heatwave of 2010" and laughed at some Ohioans moaning that it was 92 instead of the 80's they expect.

FFS, here in Minnesota it was 80+ for 3 days in April, then we went back to 40's and 50's up until June. I don't call that a "heatwave".

Maybe I'm just used to the extreme temp possibilities here. Last week it got up to 95 F with humidity making it "feel like" 110 F. Wait till winter and it'll be 20 below F, rinse, repeat.
