Not every dog or animal knows the dangers of traffic, especially if it was an indoor dog with a home. I'm sure the dog that saved the other one probably had more balls then most people.
Anyway, was very sad and sweet and also hard to watch the part where the dog was actually getting hit. And yeah, I feel more towards animals getting hurt then humans. Animals can't tell you what hurts, their cries of pain are more heart jerking (imo) and they are more helpless. Just my opinion.

It was very sad, and I was close to tearing. If you think about it though, there are probably tons of animals hit by cars a day. Now the dog trying to rescue the other was the thing that was very touching.
