Its actually quite simple 2 use.
So how are you gonna eat rice with it? xD
o the irony... asians eat rice, asians use chopsticks... how do we do it? lol
we cook our rice so that it's a bit sticky, unlike most westerners who can only cook sticky rice if they put extra ingredient (cheese for example) in there. my university cafe fails at cooking plain rice...
anyways, i'll have to go with chopsticks, so easy, convenient, and flexible to use. idk how people use fork and knife to eat chicken wings... most ppl i see leave bits of chicken meat still hanging on the bones when they are done :S

Actually, the irony here is you.
This is America. Americans trace their roots to Europe. Rice is not a staple of European food. Neither Americans nor Europeans have eaten rice as part of their main diet since the beginning of time. Coming to and living in America as an Asian, expecting American cuisine to be comparable to your Asian diet, finding it lacking, then whining about it is unacceptable. You want Asian food? You're more than welcome to go back to where you came from. You'll find plenty of "sticky rice" there.
When im eating chinese food i use chopsticks, my girlfriend likes watching me use them becuase she cant, so its fun to try teach her. When im eating normal british foods i use knife and fork!

There's that joke about the difficulty of eating rice with chopsticks. The reason Asians are so skinny and such, is because they work so hard to get every last grain with the chopsticks that by the time they finish eating they've lost weight.

no, the irony is that you were questioning how asian food can be eaten with asian utensils.
and i was only pointing out the difference between western rice and eastern rice, where did i whine?
Knife and fork, way more versatile. I only use chopsticks when i really need to, wich is 3 or 4 times a month.

I use chopsticks whenever I'm at an Asian food restaurant that provides chopsticks. I don't have chopsticks at home. I am half-Asian and am more proud of my Asian half than my white half. lol Most of my friends are Asian too. With a few whites and 2 other half-Asians. We like to call ourselves the Asian Group since we have one of the highest Asian to white ratios in the school.

I use my hands to eat chicken wings

Eating rice w/ chopsticks is easy. I dont get the point of using a knife + fork for rice, just use the fork or get a spoon lol.

Fork + Knife to eat rice is to show manners, at least for me when i go out to eat.
i was eating a japanese resteraunt the other day and the girl brought me a spoon for my rice but no one else, maybe it's cause she saw i had a hard enough time with the chopsticks and eating the big things. made me feel speshul. chopsticks easy i just have big hands are are clumsy.

Thats normal, cause the rice in japanese restaurants are usually the loose grain ones; so you wouldn't be able to pick them up with your chopstick
