Given this attitude of yours what did you expected?
You should grow up a bit and see how your dam.n life goes. Coz what you speak about is some pranaist-hindu-veggie-emo-bs.
If i would stand behind you as you write this bs i would kick you in the arshe and then ask you that

Well, looking at GD, i cant say anything but i had to show how is it there.

come on....

the best soldiers are not the mindless ones, those are the cannon fodder...the ones you want next to you are those that can think fast and react fast...the mission goal should be the only conscience you need but stopping and thinking before you take shot to make sue if its the best thing to do is a moment of hesitation and it has saved many lives before...

Well, on a mission when i am attacking an enemy stronghold -> i would kill anything in sight coz even mission is all about killing.
You highlight the tactical and i the practical part of a mission.
There is a time for both to take the lead.
You need think fast, but in action, there is no time to think, you must handle and act instantly and every part of you has to do things intinctive. You can think about your deeds AFTER you survived.
Not before.
Best way to make trough paintbal drills;)

again...this is the difference between a General and cannon fodder....there is always time to think on the battlefield....that man you just randomly shot might have very valuable information that could be used...a man who can keep his head and use it during a fight will be the man leading the troops, the one they will be looking to because they trust that when everything is going to hell around them at least one person has his head on straight...shooting at things on instinct is the dumb kind of moves that can get you caught in enemy territory or why the Iraqi civilian death toll is so high..

Actually, it's suicide bombers and IEDs, our guns don't kill many civilians.

I make this short, coz im closing my shop in 10 mins.
Strategy is one thing. The thing Generals do.
Tactic is the thing troop leaders to.
And action what grunts doo+troop leaders.
What you do is mixing this 3 things.
I wont chew on this theme any further, i leave this just here.
:)
Gl interpreting it.

ps:
Huh... good morning:)
I would also add this: Do you see on the vids any generals or members of a strategic staff? Just a simple yes or no.

I didn't say anything about our guns not killing civilians, it's just that they aren't doing the majority of the killing.

It's not really all that nasty. Well maybe that's because I'm used to animal slaughter. My first animal slaughter was when I was 5 in Senegal and my family there killed a lamb, I've seen it many more times after that including another lamb, many chickens, and a goat

You know Stephanus, it would be nice if you could elaborate more frequently on you're food for thoughts. Instead of always relying on the other members to present their discoveries and interpretations while sitting back and never taking part in the topic again. And could you work on you're posts to such an extent that it will relay you're thoughts more clearly?

Because the ambiguity is leaving a sore taste in my mouth. I am not trying to be a grammar Nazi here, but it would relay you're intellectual information a lot better. I do believe there to be some importance in you're posts, which could lead to a good discussion. But it won't find any good reception or sustenance if you keep typing in steno while thinking in Hieroglyphs.

Bear Grylls is so silly. He doesn't need that camel, he's gonna spend the night in a village after driving there in the trucks that are just off-screen.

I am a vegetarian, and haven't watched any of the videos. But I know the importance of survival, and to have those skills to kill an animal, without causing the animal much pain, I think is an important skill to have. We need to eat to survive, same with other animals. Its just these days, most people get their food from a supermarket, where do you think your sausages come from? Or the chicken that you have for your roast, they were once a living, breathing animals, that's main goal was to survive.

Rabbit scream when they are in distress, also they make many other noises, like grunting/growling.
