Sorry about berkeley, i made a comparison and someone has to jump down throats because it wasn't perfect. get over it.
I was explaining (in what i believed to be a rational manner) what i meant by saying our obsession with political correctness has a downside.
I could research and tell you other places or events where america is going soft, but truth be told, its not worth it and it would make no difference. I'm not completely happy with America i see around me and i am completely entitled to that perspective. As for your holier-than-though standpoint; i do love how i made one stereotype about a city (my mistake) and you're bitching about it but yet...
