You should "stfu" because you have poor grammar. I can't believe the morons that post on these forums telling others to fu ck off and shut the fu ck up when they can't type English themselves. How is anyone to take your opinion seriously...

ignore him. By calling ppl "kid" and pointing out grammar mistakes he makes his e-peen larger. He uses these things to make himself feel like a contributing when in fact he really just came into complain like i said early. These kinds of post are even worse then the "lol or "+1" because not only are they off topic but they're a poor attempt to put someone else down.

Then we saw him attempt to contribute with his 1 line while also making yet another pointless insult. What is noteworthy is that his one line of contribution is filled with deep provocative blah blah blah. Really it doesn't say anything new or add to the thread but it sounds nice and really thats what this guy is all about, trying to sound cool.

Im going to go ahead and say right now he can join snoopy and squirt in that special little category...

No, I read it. Love did his usual style of insult without substance and you attacked his grammar instead of the argument. Xemnas called you out, and you called him a kid.

the only thing that is cool about the new president is that, he is the first black unitedstadian to be president, and he is a democrat, i think that's about it.

as for the gay marriage, I'm all for it to be legalized, but that will never happen, or at least not anytime soon, I'm sure their will be a first lady president before gay people are allowed to get married  .

But about eliminating capital gains on small businesses...can someone explain this to me? Capital gains are the increase in equity on an asset and are only triggered upon sale of that asset. Small businesses are rarely bought and sold; they are simply run by the owner usually for the duration of his life. I don't see how reducing or eliminating capital gains taxes on small business will have any impact whatsoever. Arguing that it will promote innovation strikes me as utterly absurd. But maybe I'm missing something. Please explain.

This does seem kind of strange. The only thing I can see is that it may encourage investors to buy up small business stock with less fear of losing money... I'll admit I don't understand it too well though.

Are you guys seriously arguing about grammar and immaturity in a prop 8 thread? For clarification, prop 8 does not involve a required level of education in each post on an Internet forum. :(

maybe marriage shouldn't be considered religious business.

Christianity is only 2000 years old, ppl were getting married b4 that. In Germany there are two separate ceremonies held. Theres one thats held in a state house that legally binds the couple and the other which is really optional is one held in the church. The only thing we're fighting for is the Federal legal rights that can only be granted through marriages recognized by states. If states don't let us marry we can't get access to those federal rights even if we enter a Civil Union. The Federal gov't either needs to recognize civil unions and give them the same rights as marriage or states need to recognize that we need the right to marry. Or the Feds could do what Germany did and create a binding of the state and then let couples make a binding of god if they so choose.

Well government didn't think up marriage, so I think it'd be wrong to make it their business. The only reason married couples get tax breaks is because they assume those people are starting families/need breaks because they'd be supporting each other. Just change it from married couples to just couples or something. Separate it somehow like it should be. Once you do that then the public concern wouldn't be whether gay marriage is right or wrong, it'd be whether it's fair or not to count them with other traditional couples and give them tax breaks. And I'd hope for some people the answer would be obvious then.

Government didn't think up a lot of things. I'm not saying I disagree with you it's just that argument may not float. ;)

Well, they did think up taxes, so I can't really see where you're going with that.

True. It also occurs to me that it may have the opposite effect of pushing innovation. Third party investors in small business usually look for very high returns because of the huge risk they're taking. By eliminating a burden to sale (the capital gains tax) you are giving those third party investors an incentive to liquidate earlier than they might otherwise. If you really wanted to help small businesses and support innovation, you would eliminate income taxes (not capital gains taxes) on small businesses.

Well, they did think up taxes, so I can't really see where you're going with that.

I'm pretty sure tribute/extortion/tariffs existed before government but that's beside the point. I'll complete my statement:
Your argument against government involvement in marriage is that government didn't create it.
I post "Government didn't think up a lot of things." in response to:
Well government didn't think up marriage, so I think it'd be wrong to make it their business.

Well, government didn't think up coinage, medicine, flight, small businesses, etc. The point is that argument may not play well in your favor if someone said: "Well government didn't create Health Care yet it makes it it's business!" =]

Health care isn't supposed to be separated from the state. Church is. That's the key point here.

And you're the only one so far with a problem with my statement lol.

=/ The constitution, bro. =/ Regardless, that's debatable.
>_> I don't have a problem with it. I agree with it and have several pro arguments in store against the badly made con argument [that I posted].

You will not be able to do this. And don't you want to know why?

If you attack it with literature, it won't be very successful because 1. they don't give a shit about your pamphlets, 2. Those who actually pick them up and read them, they won't be persuaded because religious people don't reason with logic (actually, if they do much reasoning, they wouldn't believe in God in the first place.)

Now if you attack them... physically. Do you know how many people follow the church nowadays? With their number, they can just drown you with their spit which they spray when they talk to you.

So, please, for you sanity just be like me and be happy that you see something most people in the world don't see. (Or do they? I wonder if they actually do see "God". (/sacasm)

Re: California: Proposition 8

regardless of how many black ppl voted against it (and its more a religious matter + social upbringing)the black vote in California is so small (and getting smaller each year) it hardly affected Prop 8. The media is blowing it completely out of proportion with headlines saying stuff like "Black Vote helps pass Prop 8" which is entirely BS. The main enemy of Prop 8 was actually Old ppl. So post some vids on why Old ppl hate gay ppl and you'd be more relevant to the topic.
