I'm rereading Zettai Karen Children. Definitely one of my top manga, maybe even THE top manga 
The humor is great, the story is solid and the progression of time is the best I've ever seen. Not to mention Kyousuke is a fantastic antagonist.
Also, Hitler could learn a thing or two from this manga:

It's not a particularly excellent show, but it's cutesy and wholesome. It reminds me of something which could've aired in the early 2000's.
It's a relatively simple magical girl show about 2 cyborg girls. It's a bit of SoL and a bit of action here and there. Also some mild shoujo-ai, which I think you would quite appreciate
