Latest update..

Thank you for your patience and continued support of the game. As Devil had posted, the game did not enter Open Beta on the 19th October because it was decided that the lag/disconnect issues faced by many international players needed to be addressed.

We expect the latest patch from China to arrive on Friday the 26th of October, it will be extensively tested on Monday the 29th of October and we hope to release the patch at the end of that day IF no major bugs are found and the patch is determined to be stable. Our target is to begin Open Beta before the end of the month.

The 29th of October is NOT the release date.

Shame.. i'll definately be back at college by the time it gets released then.

Perfect World English will be delayed awhile, this situation has occurred due to our developer discovering a major bug during their testing period. They are working on it to fix this major issue.

We will keep track of the progress , so there is NO ETA for the launching of Perfect World.

Im playing the CN version on Dragon server

Theres a guide how to play it whit out needing to re-download the CN client and the English patch

So who didn't play Closed can check the forums

Greetings Perfect World Fans!

We have finally received word from Beijing that the long awaited patch is ready! Between 7pm and 9pm Malaysian time tonight the patch download process will begin. Once all files have been received the test server will be updated and tomorrow (20th Nov) will be dedicated to testing the patch as throughly as we possibly can.

If (and I stress here 'IF') no further bugs are found then the patch will be put on the patch servers to be made available for download. Whatever the case may be, there will be a post made at the end of tomorrow the 20th of November or 21st of November. The posted update will indicate the results of the test and hopefully, if all goes well, the long awaited Open beta date will be announced.

Please keep in mind that the announcement of Open Beta will occur assuming there are no major bugs.

I really hope the testing goes well. I never got a chance to try the closed beta, and I was thinking about trying PW out using the above method; then I stumbled onto this info so I guess I can wait 1-2 more days. I'm so sick of all the bots, flaming, and horrible community in almost every isro server. Recently tried to play Rappelz (seems to be very strongly anti-bot and bot-free) but I couldn't get the damn client to load after multiple installs+patchings. Oh well. -sighs-. PW, save me now please :cry:
