i guess you mean CRTs with crap refresh rates? They flicker like crazy which dosnt do the eyes any good at all.

12 Year-old CRT monitor, Hate me. I only hate it because I can't play games on 1024x768 for more than a hour without having sore eyes. lol. So I'm stucked with 800x600 with 4x AA/F

JK I would need a godlike GPU to run Crysis. I gots a 19 inch 1280x1024 Dell LCD (it was a gift)...Suprising that ppl have CRT's when LCDs are so cheap. I remember getting a 15 inch Sony LCD for $350 when LCDs first came out. I sure got pwned while today a 22inch Samsung with a 2ms response time at 1600x1200 res costs $320... :x :x :x

My first LCD was priced at $1200, they just came out. It was back when you'd see them on TV, but you never really saw one in real life, or heard of someone who has seen one. It was elusive, and you didn't know if they really existed.
