Yeh but you have to admit the statistics are kinda old by now. By then it had just been over a year since the 9/11 attacks and our entrance into the war. I can find embarressing facts in just about any country. plus, how many redneck hickeys do you think there are in the american south? A lot, and I'm sure those people skew up your data. Go to somewhere in california or the east coast or up in michigan, you'll get different results.

IMO Americans would be smarter if schools were able to focus more on the teaching aspect than the "get these f*cking kids out and graduated already" aspect. Schools around the world are more refined and have more stages than our system and it shows. Education-wise the US sucks massive hairy balls, so it's not really surprising that practically nobody knows where certain countries are on the map. School is treated like the shitty chore you have to do between video games and jerking off these days, by students and teachers alike.
