I actually have a guide on how to set it up, step by step. Doesn't take more then 10 minutes, and most of that is downloading the tools you need. Not a big hassle at all.

It's a SERIOUSLY fun game. After playing it, I've started to dislike sro. So many of the things that I hate about SRO (i.e. the two major being gold bots and never being able to log in) are never a problem in Cabal.

Anyway, I'm from the US.

If you want to play:

download hhtp-tunnel: http://www.http-tunnel.com/html/solutio ... lient2.asp //this is free, but if you pay $5 a month you have fewer lag spikes. I'd suggest sticking with free. It's a proxy set in the UK, so no set up is needed. Download, install, and then "autodetect" is the button you press on the first window.

Download "ProxyCap" (http://proxylabs.netwu.com/). Install, and set up. In the settings just set it to route back to 127.0.0.1. This will send Cabal's "accesS" back to 127.0.0.1 which means it's routed through http-tunnel (i.e. a european ip address). It's the second fastest way. There should be a way to spoof the euro ip address...but I don't know how. I'd need Cruor's help =P.

ok then some1 tell me if there is a faster way to update this game ...
I managed to download it and now i got past first 1/4 and now stopped at 50% of 2/4 update mine speed goes something about 0.39 - 10kb/s, but the problem is it stopped downloading...

Any help ?

I dont have that problem, but i d/l the thing that d/l's the installer, and everytime i try to start up the installer my pc crashes :banghead:

just try re-downloading. Download all three softwares if you're from out of the europe area.

I got from 1 --> 33 in about 5 days.

yea i know, updates so slowly

but i guess i'll just play it tonight, prolly wont have any hw.

dont know im a newb too xD, though ive got a lvl 42 blader, well their skills are looking better i think , but they wear low def sets if im not mistaken xD

crafting isn't worth the Alz you're going to pump in it.
It's f*cking expensive. You should try to join a high lvl guild who can craft for you. If you do want to craft, you should take something that's good for you (armour or weapons (only focus on the weapon of your choice in that case))

An important thing in this game is skilling. It's boring, but you'll need it to win in PvP or to survive in high lvl maps. You have to wear adept weapons, clothes and jewellery. If you're skilling use fast skills at lvl 9 and combo them.
When you're bored of skilling for a while you should use high dmg skills on high lvl mobs and if you can handle it, you should stick with your adept gear. If the mobs hurt too much, you can switch into something better.
