Right, just because you were a ****-up means other people are... Not trying to be an ass but there's nothing to support what you're saying.
You seem very defensive. You got the problem too?
Dude it's not hard to see, I have friends in RL who do the same shit.
I am almost willing to bet that there are several here who do it too.
I never said just cos I was other people are, that's a stupid assumption.
Just think about it.
Peace.

Why is it that everyone who tries to overexagerate their highness (of course for cool factor!) always make them selves look drunk!
There's this guy I know who tries so hard to let everyone know he's high - ex: he pretends to forget things.
When high, you don't type like an idiot - that's drunk.
Oh and on the subject of druggie friends (couple posts ahead): All my friends started pot the same time I did. A lot of them have dropped out and are on chemical drugs now, I haven't touched anything for 8 months ^^.
Wait, you think I was faking? LOLOL dude why would I do that? I don't need to get attention from you guys. trust me. I wasn't stoned anyway, I was drunk as **** and yacked out. I went to bed after posting and woke up[ like 4 hours later. You do know that when you sleep you sober up, right Dom?
Whatever, don't need to prove that I was legitemately drunk to people on here, I really don't give a **** LOL.
Anyway back on topic.
Peace.
so much hatin on the black chocobo..
i get what you're sayin.. and you're right a lot of kids tend to slack in their studies and grind on games for ridiculous hours..
of course some are smarter and take the other path.. don't even bother boasting "im clean and always do my homework" cause nobody cares and it's not on topic...
it would be a lot better to switch that around and put all their determination and effort into schooling but hey videogames are a lot more enjoyable than studying..

That's the bottom line too. People would rather do what's pleasurable and fun than what's necessary and more important. To a point where it hurts them in their RL doings.
Self discipline is a huge factor in this, most people lack it.
I'm not trying to say all of you are like that, cos it seems like some of you got defensive, just sayin...
It's very obvious that some people are like this.
What you need comes before what you want.
You NEED to pass HS and go to college.
You NEED to go spend time with your girlfriend.
You NEED to go to work.
You NEED to get some fucken sleep LOL.
You WANT to play Silkroad. Or whatever game.

LOL um okay dude whatever you say.
If it was my way I wouldn't go to college for 6 years payin out the ass.
Or work all the time.
Think about what you say LOL.
It's societies standards. Other than the girlfriend part. But if you have a girlfriend, she has to take priority over a fucken video game...am I wrong?
Let's see what happens when you don't graduate from highschool, don't go to college, spend all of your waking moments on a game rather than with friends or a girlfriend.

I know people who dropped out of high school who get by. They didn't need to go to high school and college to live. I bet they play video games too. But like I said before, you don't need to go to high school to survive.

I suppose if you want to be technical, you could somehow manage to survive without highschool or college.
I know a dude who dropped out of HS. Yeah, he's got a place, with 5 other people living there also. Yeah, he's got a job, where he works harder and gets paid less than I do, and what am I doing at work right now? Typing this out.
My dad never went to college. He's worked hard labor, like building restoration and maintenence, his whole life. Now that he's 58 and jobless, he can't get another job in what he's good at because nobody in that industry is going to hire somebody who is 2 years from retirement age.
They're both stuck. Now hje's living with my half sister who is 30 years old and taking care of him financially.
Yeah, you can manage though.
EDIT: Ug I've been text messaging alot lately, too used to typing out words half assed, opposite of what my sig says to do.
The thing is, I can leisurely type at around 60-70 wpm, and I can text message while trying to go fast, at probably like 10 wpm.

S'all about... recompensation.
Gamers who strive to be the best and at the top of their chosen game possibly are OVER-compensating for some other activity that they aren't proficient in, IRL.
They don't get the same reward or recognition that they do IRL but can get respect for being "one of the elite" from other gamers who share a passion to play; these very same gamers who are cought in this expression
when they see a nuker walking around in a full SOSun set +'d to the max.
^.^

Black is right I've thought bout this before as well. majority of people slack in life while try hard for games. Yet they call others no-life.
I've conducted a survey from this forum awhile ago and it had a question
Did you go to college/university?
The results of the survey were shocking
that is proof of slacking.

me, i never went to college (besides a single semester at UNR) , but i still have a good job because of my pc tech experience, and i can get a job making upwards of 70 grand a year without college. i have known this for a long time, and have planned as such.
you cant expect to become a famous musician.
thats kinda like planing to win the lotto or... waiting for a parent or grand parent die so you can get what they leave behind
