I already did quit SR. Waiting on 2 moons for sure.
I tried 9 dragons, was good till FD levels,that got old quick(I'm done with that).
As i was waiting for 2 moons, looking for different MMO's to play till it opens. I found a cool little game called Tales of Pirates. At first i was like wtf, the graphics look kind of kiddy. But then i tried it, so heres my take on it, and i'm pretty hooked on it so far(not even worried about 2 moons anymore)
Pros to Tales of Pirates:
Graphics are not 2moons,or silkroad, there more of a cross between finalfantasy 9, and kingdom hearts, with boats that you can level, its vast,i'm lev 40 and have only seen 8% of the map.
Theres things like mining,fishing,Trade routes with boats,(like trade in SR, but ship routes to different continents)wood cutting,(tradeskills)
There is also socketed weapons like Finalfantasy 7(like the materia) and gives weapons diff apperance.
Zones that pop up in the ocean every 3 hours for special boss and treasure hunting Lots of chest to open.You zone in through a whirlpool, lol.
pvp so far on these zoned islands,pvp in like arenas on the mainland.
boss mobs out the ying , most on 5 min timer, camped but, not to bad where you can't get what your wanting.
and you get a ship, buy different ships, level it. kind of like the old ff games where you cruised the oceans in your boat, but you have cannons on these ships.
And the game is land and sea, you explore both if you want(pretty cool)
Quest, so many quest, the quest system in this game is very good, my list is full, i've still yet to do all mine, and i'm lev 40, and they keep coming.
Theres no GG btw.
The grind in most MMO's seems to be hard core, but with all the things to do in this game, and xp is really pretty decent, and it flys by.
it just went OB recently, and they have there second server up. they have events out the ass. they have had 4 events since i've started , and all of april every weekend is double xp double drop.
Guilds , Stalls, to. The game is prob 50x or more the size of SR.
the graphics are ok, its not realism, but what they lose in graphic, they make up for in gameplay, and they fix bugs, on the spot, or problems.
Its Free and there website has so much information on everything , just look it up if you get stuck or need to find a certain item, or even weapon.
Later on there going to add the wars and stuff guild vs guild.
Sound is good, graphics are good for the type of game .gameplay is great.
world chat is free. Nice little game to pass the time while your waiting for the next big mmo, I'm going to go ahead and go to cap on this one, if there is one. Take a look!
