how exactly can one compare a game that isn't even close to release to one that's been in production for over a year?
It's like saying the 2010 miata is going to own the 2004 porsche.
Are you dealing with ANY first hand knowledge at all? Have you even tried WoW? Or are you making 2 assumptions to come up with a third?
Sorry for derailing the topic yet again.

By that time I think WoW's community will be halfed, at least.
psshhhh, if blizz keeps it up to date (expansions, new armor, weapons, and instances) why would it? Blizz is making way to much money on this game to neglect it. i cant think of many games that are coming out that will take down wow. maybe GW2 (HIGHLY doubt it), maybe Conan(Weird Play Style). everything else is the same game with a different skin.

+1,I don't expect gw2 to knock out blizz. Because blizz knows about gw2 and they will keep making WoW the better game, with more updates, more expansions.Foilin wrote:Snudge wrote:What you guys forget is that GW2 comes out around 2009

GW and WoW appeal to different audiences, they are both different kind of games. Wow being the traditional p2p mmo and gw being the one time fee action rpg.
Comparing them is useless, people either like one or the other, depending on tastes, or buy both.
I have wow, gw: prophecies, factions ,and i'm going to go buy nightfall this weekend even though I haven't touched GW since the day factions came out. Different games.
