Ohhhh!!!What's your favorite FF char???

We received word as soon as our boys made it back that Square Enix wanted to make it clear that there will not be a Final Fantasy VII remake for PS3. Repeat, there will not be a remake. But, there will be a new Final Fantasy game for the system somewhere down the line. We'll have info on that as it happens.

I'm seriously expecting a flark up though...I'll wait to hear some reviews before actually buying it. If it's ever released.

Why? Could you elaborate? I've never talked to someone who dislikes FF that can actually state a reason. It seems like they all just wanna go against the grain and hate for no reason.

Although this was pointed at nuklear, I've never played one all the way through either, so i'll take a stab at it.

I love games with a deep storyline and such. Usually one would think that i'd love FF. I tried it, not sure how far I got into them but the reason I was never able to finish was a time issue. I don't like having to spend 3 hours to get to the other side of the world to get a key to open a box which is on an unfindable ship hidden in a cave which is unfindable on a map - just to open a door which a piece of parchment on a table on the other side telling me where the next key is located. Although that was made up, you get the idea. For a single player game, it's too tedious. If i'm going to be spending that much time and "tedious-unfun-grinding-like" it'd better be on a sort of mmorpg - that way all the time I wasted wouldn't be just to see a end game video about the main character falling in love with some big titted half dressed female character who turns out to be his sister.

Ninja's are the shit! So are monks. Lol hell alot of the jobs are the shit. But monks do intense damage heh heh.

Monks are pretty rugged.. I've never gotten too far into Chakra but with normal attacks alone they can deal out some major damage.

lol, most of these are from FFVII or VIII, the ones famed by most with the best storyline
my personal favorite is either Sephiroth or Zidane
on a side note, FFXII characters are complete rip-offs of FFX characters
vaan=tidus
ashe=yuna
penelo=rikku
balthier=uh...AURON!
basch=uh...WAKKA!
Fran=uh...KIHMARI(sp?) lol ya right Fran is probably twice as old, female, and better looking

How about 4 with Cecil and Kain. It was wierd that Cecil was a "dark knight" in the beginning. and turned into a paladin. Still, Cecil was cool =)

ok, so i managed 2 get FFXII before the release date, and im beginning to think its a waste of money =\ the whole movement system sux. The camera just doesnt work...and Turn-Based ftw!

FFXII was my favorite, u just gotta get out of your shell of turn based
btw, if u dont like it now and love turn based, youll probably not enjoy FXIII
