+1 for IBC. I made root beer cake with it one time. It wasn't that great, but I had a bunch of leftover IBC so it all worked out.

I think Barqs makes a close second. well not really close but if theres no IBC ill drink Barqs. I wouldnt even touch A&W or MUG Eww.

Do you know *why* Barqs "has bite" like their commercials claim? Because it's caffeinated. That's all.

There are a few local root beers I like too (corner store on a Brighton side street sells one that's almost as good as IBC), but Mug is no good and A&W may be classic but so is IBC which tastes better.
